宜蘭沒有水庫，卻從不缺水，秘密就藏在地底下。

蘭陽平原土石沖積大量的沉積帶、地層厚實豐富，雨水多滲入地表內，儲存於地底，整個蘭陽平原地下就像是一座大水庫。

員山鄉深溝水源生態園區擁有豐沛的水資源，是宜蘭好水的最佳代言，也是全台難得可開放水源禁地參觀的自來水廠。

擁有好水，是宜蘭最寶貴的資產，台灣最大的水草場－勝洋水草休閒農場，除介紹國內常見的藥用、食用、觀賞的水草之外，也著重於生態與環境間的營造，勝洋水草的努力吸引了臺灣北部少有的第二類保育類動物水雉(又稱凌波仙子)的定居與繁殖，他們計畫成立水雉生態教育中心，進行教育與推廣。

The Lanyang Plain boasts large sedimentary belt, and thick and rich strata. Rainwater penetrates the surface, and is stored underground. It is like there is a large water reservoir underneath the entire Lanyang Plain.

Shengou Water Resources Ecological Park in Yuanshan Township is most representative of Yilan’s good water quality, as well as the only water treatment plant in Taiwan that opens to visitors.
Sheng Yang Leisure Farm not only introduces water grass, but also focuses on building ecology and environment, attracting pheasant-tailed jacana, a Class-II protected species, to settle and reproduce here.
