宜蘭雖不產陶瓷碗盤，但反而有機會讓各地碗盤湧進，因此在宜蘭可以發現不同時代、產地、窯場等各式碗盤製品，而成為台灣蒐羅碗盤的重要據點。

台灣碗盤博物館蒐藏了2萬多件藏品，保存台灣在不同時代的社會經濟與飲食文化縮影。古早味的碗盤，盛裝著在地文化，碗盤上自帶活跳跳的魚蝦、婆娑搖曳的椰風海景，或是梅蘭竹菊、福祿壽喜等吉祥字樣，不僅展現了昔日餐桌上的碗盤日常，也呈現出過往市井小民對生活的想望。

Yilan does not produce ceramic bowls or dishes; thus, bowls and dishes made in other places are sold to Yilan, making it an important place in Taiwan for the collection of dishes and bowls.
Taiwan Bowl & Dish Museum collects over 20,000 items, preserving the epitomes of Taiwan’s social economy and culinary culture in different periods. Vintage dishes and bowls contain local culture; not only do they display the daily life on dining table in the past, but also the imaginations of ordinary people.
