在機械化的浪潮下，牛耕的畫面逐漸消失在田野裡，「牛頭司耕牛小學堂」是一群致力於牛耕文化推廣的團體，搶救與飼養退役耕牛，並將一般人避之唯恐不及的牛糞，運用在造紙、薰香、作為燃料使用。善用自然資源，善盡物質的再生與循環，牛糞也能變黃金。

近來，牛頭司更與宜蘭壯圍地區的地主、小農合作，導入牛耕進行田區的整地，以共耕的模式合作耕種水田，全區不使用化學肥料、除草劑與農藥，希望能善盡一份對土地的心意。

“Niutousi Farm Cattle Academy” is formed by a group of people who strive to promote the culture of ox ploughing, saving and caring for retired farming cattle; cow dung, which people usually throw away, is utilized to make paper and incense, or used as fuel. Utilization of natural resources, and recycle and recuse, can turn cow dung into gold.
In recent years, cattle have been introduced to ploughing in the area, launching a new cooperative model in nearby paddy fields. The region does not use fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, treating our soil the right way.
