早年從事珊瑚雕刻業的賴榮興先生，有感於寶石珊瑚是珍貴的資源逐漸消失。因此窮盡一生心力，專注在寶石珊瑚產業深耕與研究，並從事珊瑚雕刻創作，以發心、禪意和典故為題材，來啟發體會生命過程中的意義。

1999年設立「珊瑚法界博物館」，陳列珊瑚各環節的相關資料，並以雕刻為主題，讓民眾瞭解珊瑚產業的資訊，提供一扇珊瑚文化之窗。

Mr. Lai Jung-hsing engaged in coral carving early on in his career. He realized that deep sea coral is a precious resource, and he has dedicated his life to the development and research of the deep-sea coral industry, as well as coral carving. Using awakening of the mind, Zen, and allusion as themes, Mr. Lai hopes to inspire realizations of the meaning of the journey of life.
In 1999, Mr. Lai founded CCCB Coral Museum, exhibiting related information on all aspects of coral reefs; also, through the theme of sculpture, the museum introduces information on the coral industry, offering a window to the coral culture.
